Bob's Toothpick City is currently over 300,000 toothpicks and still growing. No molds, forms or any other material has been used to build it...just toothpicks and wood glue. - www.bobstoothpickcity.com
This looks as painstaking as gluing together 2mm veneer to make a perfect plank! Will you/do you make sculptures of real-life city/scapes also? I like your city sculptures, they are fantastic to look at, I wish I could see some of them in real life, it's not the same with out the smells etc!
This is very good! Even if you used "normal" materials it would be good. We need a rough estimate on the number of toothpicks you used to make this in the description. How many are used and how many are new
Wow, that must have been a ton of time put into that. IT'S SO AWESOME! If I was a little girl again, I would die for it XD ! I especially love the details that you put with the windows and the roofs. Very creative~ -Mirage
I have one major disappointment with this.... I can't blow the image up to see all the amazing detail! This really is fantastic but having taken a look at some of your detail shots, this shot really doesn't do the overall model the full justice it so rightly deserves.
Time-consuming, pain-staking, and architecturally impressive. It's not just that you did this with toothpicks, but you made it look very uniquely yours; I can entirely envision this as a real city somewhere, as all of the aesthetic touches fit together beautifully.
Also, I love that it's a sea-side city, with little boats and canals apparently!
