I hide my head in shame at my own lack of dedication to my art...  Twenty five pounds of toothpicks with eight years of work poured into them is admirable by any standards; you put us all to shame. On a purely artistic note, love the layout and flow of the piece, and the detail work on those rock outcroppings and brick walls is fantastic. Would make an awesome film set. Great stuff, keep it up.

Thanks so much! It's actually built like a tank...I doubled and triple layered the toothpicks and this section weighs about 25 lbs.

I answere so late becouse I really don´t know what to say, I´m just speechless, everytime trying to say at least something.

But I´m too impressed. I have never seen anything like that.

I don´t know if I had the endurance to do this, this seems to take sooooo much time to get anywhere.
The finished thing though, is awesome.

Wow. This must have taken some serious patience and steady hands. Out of this whole amazing piece I have only one question; how the hell did you make a circle out of toothpicks?

This is impressive, very impressive. You must have spent many days worth of hours on this (or years). I like the boats, just one thing, it looks as though there is no access to the dock/jetty from the board-walk. Is there meant to be?

EIGHT YEARS is one hell of an investment.

The thing I love the most about this is the attention to detail with the rocks, bricks/stones, and the roof slates... really impressive!
:D
